YARA was formed in May 2019 and is affiliated with Active Retirement Ireland which has over 550 groups throughout the country.

Now with over 285 members in Youghal, we have regular meetings, social events, physical activities and recreational outings, to appeal to all our members.

Phyllis Foley is our Chair, and we have an active and progressive committee to organise all our activities.

In April 2023 we were delighted to receive the Lord Mayor’s Award for services to the community.
